this is the only website i have found for them and the only reason i know they have a new record completed. it is not extensive, mostly a discography really. http://www.puc.edu/Departments/Art/gallery/James_Reeder/moose/index.html other shoegazey types that were listenable -the first two lilys records were homages to kevin shields -the swirlies(they seem to only own one mbv record-> isn't anything) -revolver( the singer was a pretty boy but their first proper lp was lovely) -bark psychosis(brainy and brilliant, i guess they weren't really shoegazers but they were before post-rock) -chapterhouse(former members being resurrected in mojave 3 and cuba, maybe the worst second album in history though) -midway still(dreadful except for their cover of 'you made me realise') -secret shine(one of the best bands ever on sarah) as far as recent stuff i like i guess i like the local stuff - godzuki and his name is alive, both have released excellent albums in the past few months. neither sound like B&S but godzuki's is tons of fun with kraftwerk keyboards sorta like 'super electric' era stereolab i think and his name is alive continue their constant re-invention with a weirded out take on 60s pop mixed with beck-like craziness sprinkled with some hendrix guitar:) keith mcl +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
