Sinister: faking intimacy is an artform of mine
well i was going to explain my interpretation of lazy line painter jane but i couldnt really articulate it very well so i thought id show you a bit of a song i wrote called ethics girl that sort of sums it up: not quite love, close enough, jules and jim, is wearing thin, laid flat, on her back, double dare, doesnt care, ethics girl, against the world its like she may fit peoples perception of a slapper, but shes doing it out of... i dont know, i told you i couldnt articulate it very well. its not really that similar over the whole song, but i thought that that bit was appropriate. it probably hasnt come out very well without the music but im trying my best. i think more people on this list should express their views through verse. or maybe not. also, i think someone mentioned this ages ago, but its strange how the song could almost be called lazy jane, which rhymes with hazey jane, because didnt stuart murdoch claim to be unaware of nick drake before people started comparing him to him? i think either a) im remembering it wrong, he never said that, b) hes telling fibs, or c) i am very paranoid right thats it, im going back to bed from tjohn. "and do you think its possible to be sensitive and strong?" "hmm... we are." -the bmx bandits visit deadhippy online: http://www.deadhippy-records.freeserve.co.uk batfink site to come soon... +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
