They, like ER, came as a real shock to me at first, but I grew to love some of them dearly, as I do ER. Also, I like a little hamfisted dabbling in other genres: like the early Happy Mondays' take on funk, or the Fatima Mansions' version of 'Shiny Happy People'. Doesn't always work, of course. Just ask Sting about reggae. Or jazz, for that matter.
