Well I forgot to talk about Primal Scream, Placebo, Yo la Tengo, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Spiritualized, The Unbelievable Truth or the Red House Painters at the same festival. This festival is being made for the last four years, and it is sit in Benicassim, a seaside town near Valencia. This year me and 24.999 more went there. But, oh, in february-march, when I first heard the name of some bands for this last edition, B&S WERE INCLUDED ! Can anyone tell me what happened then ? Another question related with B&S: The "Acid House" soundtrack has been released also in Europe (obviously, not including UK) ? Lately I have been hearing to Jack, The Fall, the first R.E.M albums, Nick Cave, Ani di Franco, and the wonderful spanish band LE MANS. If you come to Spain and want to buy a really lovely record, buy their latest "Aqui vivia yo" ("Here is where I used to live"). I know, they sing in spanish, but does it really matter ? it?s a shame, because they had disbanded recently. If Spain had a musical press like the british one ( I know that their tastes are quite debatable, but in Spain it would be impossible to see bands like Radiohead or Portishead reach at the highest positions in the charts) they would have had a bigger success. The musical scene here is basically shit. You can only find good bands at the independent resources, and they are quite excluded from the media. Bye.Lordy Jordi.
