Wish I could go to the festival (sigh). I have been to Camber Sands many years ago (well 1977), not the holiday centre but the 'place' itself. Back then it was just one beach cafe selling dinghys and crap ice cream. The man who worked there told us that 'Carry On - Follow That Camel' was filmed there and he worked as an extra on the film. He had Phil Silvers autograph which really impressed my dad.
