Hello, you lovely people: The last bits about french pop have been really interesting. Arantxa and Charles suggestions were great (there was somebody else, I just donŽt remember.....), but I wouldnŽt consider Pascal Comelade as pop. He plays really rare but fascinating songs, but is much different of the ones mentioned before. He plays with toy pianos, little guitars, banjos and other stuff like that. I can suggest Kitten Mouse to play Françoize Breut, lovely chanteuse, girlfriend of Dominique A, with sad pop songs which are really beautiful. However, I think that Kitten Mouse and everybody else in America must know something. An american label called Shelflife (If I understood well our local DJ) is going to release one of the most beautiful albums ever made. itŽs called "un soplo en el corazón" ("A blow in the heart") from the band FAMILY. It was originally released in 1994, and itŽs the best Pet Shop Boys mixed with the best Smiths, lovely voices and sad lyrics. Americans, please, do yourself a favour and get it. Or, at least, have a listen from it. I donŽt know if SRD will release it at the UK (it was originally released here by Elefant records), but it might. Jesús Gil ? I wonŽt say anything else than heŽs a fat old franco-lover fascist. Now heŽs judged, which leads me to think if Peter Miller is following his case. Peter are you still there ?
