hello everyone, ahh what a busy few days it has been. ive been utterly consumed with school work. college is not all it is cracked up to be. i went to pick out my classes for next semester and i had my little heart positively set on taking french, i have this strong desire to learn it and become fluent in it, but my advisor told me not to take it as it is useless, and it will never help me. well what if i want to travel to france i said. he told me to be realistic and that i should learn spanish instead. well then i said i dont want to learn spanish ive no interest at all in it, and i never want to visit anyplace like mexico or spain or anything because i hate hot weather, and i just plain am not interested it. he then gave me a dirty look. so it seems that i am the practical one and he was just mad because i am RIGHT! I think i should have at least one class that i like. but no such luck. well i was sad so i rented ma vie en rose(my life in pink) about a little boy who wants to be a little girl. that movie is really good, and the little boy in it is cute as a button... today in my english class we got assigned a new paper to write. normally i dread it because she makes us write about such shite, but today was a different story. our topic she gave is to pick either a tv show or a band and and through that band or show analyze a contemporary issue. well of course the first thing that popped into my mind was belle and sebastian! the example she gave us was how nirvana symbolized the alternative music culture. so i guess i write about how belle and sebastian can symbolize indie culture? but then i started to think how exactly would i describe indie culture and is it possible to do so? and also to try to describe it to someone who has not the slightest clue what indie or belle and sebastian is. this is making it difficult so if any of you have any advice or suggestions for me please mail me. finally any philly area kids who are attending sorted- lets have a meet up. it will be tons of fun. and it is tommrow night. alright i must go lauren +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
