Sinister: Round two.
Greetings Sinister folk. I'm hiding out in my cavernous, cool home now, with great relief, listening to a killer B&S mixed tape. The Troubador said: "Why do all the pretty girls come out when it is sunny?" Ha! Wouldn't you like to know what they did the rest of the year? I think it's true, although, round these parts, all the pretty girls are quite plastic and bleached to faux sun perfection, and they only come out at night in their go-go boots. It's terribly pathetic. I do not claim to be one of them; I hide out inside when it's sunny, lest I be burnt to a crisp. And as for toasters and weddings. . . well. I abhor toasters. If I don't like the people, I'll get one for them. And while I really don't know the suddenly betrothed listees all that well, I think I'd probably send them something else. . . maybe an ashtray, at the very least. Perhaps a lifesize Molly Ringwald blow-up, if such a thing could still exist, and let them have at it. My freedom is about to be seriously curtailed; I am jobless no more. Next Tuesday, I start work at the University, and school, once again. I am a slave to the scholarly arts. I will miss loafing around, desperately, but I am determined to, finally, finish up this degree. All the lovely useless things I've been able to do for the past few months. . . sigh. This is the second round of higher education for me, the first having been a four-year drinking extravaganza, among other things. Well, here goes again. Anyway, love to you all.
