ok the first time i ever heard belle & sebastian,this subject came up in my mind so its about time i discuss it with others. belle & sebastian (especially the vocals) sounds like the early 70s kinks. ray davies(head singer)'s voice is remarkably similar to stuart murdock's. anyone else agree? especially the songs: "Sitting in my hotel" & "celluloid heroes" off the out-of-print-soon-to-be-re- released "Everybody's in Showbiz" LP that i snatched used at the local record store. cheers. -a.james ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
