There's alot of sexual overtones in B&S's lyrics. I've also found that quite a few songs hinted that the writer was gay (or bi). Any info to help me out on this?

I didn't mean to imply that I minded (if that's what you mean). I actually think it's rather refreshing to hear songs with mixed sexual messages that don't seem to be making any particular point. -alex ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . one of the things i like most about B&S (and there's lots i do love - like did i mention that the past couple of days driving to school, playing 'Tigermilk', i've again been struck by the lovely trumpets which make me think of June Brides? Now i bet Stuart loved the June Brides...) is the lyrical ambiguity, which is, i feel, very contemporary. I like the fact that there is a certain sexlessness around (not to be confused with a lack of sex or sexual attraction) these days. Maybe it's the ultimate in centralist politics, i dunno, but whatever... B&S cross gender boundaries with ease. But then do so much with ease that it's hardly surprising. the duke Tangents On-Line http://www.virtual-pc.com/tangent/ Tangents On-Paper: PO Box 102, Exeter, EX2 4YL, UK tangent@mail.zynet.co.uk ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
