well, hello this is my first post, as i was granted my freedom of talk, thank you. i didnt think it would be that difficult to be quiet. so anyway, did anyone happen to see homer in his kilt on the simpsons last night? oh he was cute, even got a shot of his bum. for those of you who didnt get to see it, homer and mr burns went to try and find nessie. they took camp right next to that castle on the loch. well the story is i just got back from 3 months in the uk, spent my life savings, gained 20 pounds and became an alcoholic, but i did find a place in my heart for b+s. it all happened in a wonderful hostel in liverpool called the emabassie, which i reccomend anyone going to cuz its lovely, they would always have b+s and jeff buckley playing, so alas, i was all," these guys are wonderful,"(b+s and the super friendly people) so in return, i made everyone go see sleater-kinney and jsbx, because theyre just as lovely. and to anyone in the states on the 4th of july, jsbx is playing a free gig in nycs central park, im sure it will be quite a patriotic performance, i believe luscious jackson are playing too. so that would be a perfect opportunity for a picnic and gettin funky with jon spencer, so before i say good night, just a few things i will and will not miss about the uk. i will miss the chippies, the beer, nice and sleazys open acoustic night where you get a free beer to play a song(lots of b+s covers), the pound pints in lovely liverpool, the scallys, the krazy house, the way you see the same people you saw at the clubs and pubs at the chippie, not having to tip bartebders, although i did feel bad at first, but after a few pints i didnt, i wont miss london, or the way cds are 15 pounds, everything is quite expensive, i wont miss how mr chips on sauchieal would raise their prices after like 11pm, i wont miss getting stranded on skye, and i wont miss london, oh did i already say that? well ill say it again, so , ok later-jeff +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
