Pink Ladies and jet boys, I walked around London today teaming bright red socks with vintage heels and foolishly expected people not to laugh. By the end of the day tounges were being stuck out in defence. It was quite nice when someone asked myself and beau if she could take our picture, (simalarly to PamelaBooze Explosion's experience) though I was wishing I hadn't pratted about sticking a £1.99 sticker on my face minutes before as looking in a mirror later I noticed a nice circular red mark had been left on my cheek. What a stunner! I bought some records from Rough trade, who didn't infact serve me roughly as I had hoped, and were rather namby pamby and polite. I bought records from one extreme to another. The Trembling Blue Stars 'do wap' music, and Lolita storm's goodbye america/get back (I'm evil). Lolita storm is LOUD and proud and purposefully recorded in a very, very crap way. To be honest, it's all a bit Diana Spencer Mine explosion. I think the trembling Blue stars are very pretty, and very nice. Though lots of pretty and nice things are also very, very boring. Give me glamour! Give me Drama! Give me blood and sweat and tears, fits and starts and broken hearts - but *don't* give me nice. Gawd, Autumn and drippy records, what a miserable pair. kerry said:
