um, what is this about Sleater Kinney angrily singing songs of anger or something? I don't think of them as an 'angry' band; they always seemed to have an abundance of passion that borders on joyful even when the lyrics address a painful/maddening subject. I'm not a huge fan but when I saw them live last month I left feeling completely hot-wired and happy. Maybe the anger tag is the residue of their riot grrl past.
