Sinister: the 70s WHO on tv
last night i finally got around to watching the programme about the 70s WHO that i'd taped from bbc2 earlier in the week. it was great, took me right back to when i was young. the music! the visuals! the old fashioned, er, fashions! everything. and apparently there's a whole series of them showing early evenings on bbc2, i suggest you all tune in. the first four episodes are called 'Spearhead from Space' for some reason, i guess that would be like the 4 sides of a double 'concept' album. or something. i like the bloke they've chosen to play the lead as well (he was also very good in 'wurzel gummidge'). oh, my sticks and straw! andy (and yes, i know 'spearhead from space' was originally broadcast in 1969) oh, moving house again soon, didn't have a lot of choice in the matter but there you go. it's only 1.18 miles (according to shell's geostar web thing) but i'm going to need the help of some big burly men to help me load and unload the van so if hopkins is reading this can i ask him to see if trousers is available that saturday? 8) (saturday the 4th is the plan, the new place is situated perfectly so that we can all pop down to the free Trembling Blue Stars gig that afternoon) (someone to drive the van would be nice too) (and, actually, if anyone HAS a van that i could borrow then that would be useful as well) (thanks) but in the meantime, i'm off to los angeles tomorrow... ===== andrew dean (koogydelbbog@yahoo.com) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
