Hi, Some people have been slagging off Isobel again, and normally I'd just let it slide... but right now I won't (for reasons i won't go into). *Leave the lass alone!!!* Isobel's singing is *absolutely gorgeous*. I happen to really like the way that it's so quiet that the mic has to be turned up to the point where, when listening with headphones, you can hear her open her mouth. I think it's because it sounds like she's singing in my ear, although if I'm wearing headphones I suppose she kinda is. I suppose I just like to be able to hear my pop stars breathe. Oh, and the Scottish accent is *so* sexy, don't try to deny it. Frankly, you're all a bit jealous aren't you :) The Gentle Waves are fantastic too, so there. And lyrically I think it's great. I mean, someone (hi jim) once said to me that "when a person's sad and lonely sometimes they will cry, when the sun comes out to meet them then their tears run dry" wasn't exactly profound. Well... it is actually. It's good because it's simple, if you see what I'm getting at. I mean, can any of you think of a better way of saying it?
