Charlotte piped up: On a lighter note, may I add my voice to the general clamour for more Rod on the list? Rod, where are you? If the Boston gig is tomorrow, Rodderick should be arriving in that fair city on Friday. Do you think I'd forget something like that? I can't wait for the e-mail resurrection of that great TV programme "Entertainment USA" with Jonathan King. I also look forward to finding out whether or not the Cheers bar is the same inside as it is on the telly. But enough of this frivolity, I'm very concerned about the level of smut on the list. It all started out as a bit of light-hearted fun, but there's always someone who has to go too far and push back the boundaries of public decency. Just look at this: Five days, that's all. Please Tag, keep your filthy thoughts under wraps. All you ever think about is your Captain Mainwaring and pleasure. Carrick wrote: I get things all mixed up, sometimes. There are days I would like to be a mod, but unfortunately I am cursed/blessed with the Roger Daltrey hair problem. Rather curly and bushy. And I'm not about to iron it! This hair texture is much better suited to being a folkie. No need to iron your hair, Carrick. Roger Daltry used a product called Dippity Doo. Well, one assumes it was a product. You boys running around in search of Duke's grimly fiendish goth manual "Young and Ghoulish" should get with it. The book can be ordered from the Duke himself for two pounds less than in the shops, details on the Tangents website, which now boasts a "shop" and an article about chickens in popular music. I sent my order off yesterday, with a special request that the Duke scribble my name on the end of the acknowledgments page. I suggest you all do likewise. I do indeed like Denim. There's nothing like it to get everyone to do the splits and piss on the dancefloor. You really must post more often, Anne. Keith wrote: Carrick, your Roger Daltrey hair goes down very well with me, and I expect Mr.Miller too, being great WHO fans as we said for several months on end boring everyone to tears. Is your hair the 70's incarnation of Roger Daltrey? If so, it's even better. Does anyone know if the 70's WHO plan on releasing any new albums in the near future? It's been a while since the last one. Well, Keith, there's still talk of a live box set, but we've got Pete's autobiography to look froward to as well, should be a laugh. You'll be disappointed to hear that I've failed to lure Ooooon into the WHO fanclub with my signature tune. She claims she's not the right shape for ROCK. Pity.
