I did feel a bit better about missing Blowie when I read: > No glass bottles or alcoholic cans are permitted on the site. Now there are 3 possible courses of action here. 1. The tweesters' method: Do what you're told and get ripped off by high prices at the bars onsite. 2. The smartarses' method: Tell them your cans aren't alcoholic, they haven't had a drink for weeks, you're the one who's an alcoholic. 3. The students' method: Take boxes of wine and barrels of beer instead. > There will be random drug searches. So who'll be first in the queue to have their body cavities searched? Three other bits of news (my, what a mine of information I am at the moment, it's so out of character...) >From listening to Radio 1, I have discovered that: 1. If you listen to the Evening Session tonight (8-10pm), and possibly for the rest of the week, they've got a competition to win a chalet at Bowlie for free. 2. Next Monday on Lamacq Live (8pm-midnight) they've got a documentary about 'The inside story of the Bowlie weekender', which will probably go out sometime after 11pm. 3. According to the Sun newspaper, the Brits committee have decided not to use Radio 1 listeners to vote for the Best Newcomer award next year...
