I almost feel as if this isn't worth mentioning because alot of 7''s are "obscure" because so few are pressed. Nonetheless, I suppose the most obscure thing I have is a Portastatic import 7' that was limited to only 150 copies. Looking beyond my collection though...I had to clean out the vinyl stacks at the radio station I work at and they have lots of collectibles including stuff from the Pixies, Talking Heads, the Pouges, New Order, and lots more. It was pretty exciting...I even found a Talulah Gosh album I never knew we had. jm

Hurm. I own Happy Mondays' "Freaky Dancin'" 12"... uhm. I know. Who cares? But to distinguish between obscure band or obscure record? Or do they go hand in hand? I think Belle and Sebastian could get away with a cheeky cover of an early Duran Duran song, likesay, "Save A Prayer" 'cos I was just thinking about my 1st record ever--"Seven and the Ragged Tiger". What a beaut, that. francisco ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . This message was brought to you by the Sinister mailing list. .
