Hullo, At last I have scaled the nursery walls and joined the ranks. woo hoo. Basically, I am now living in Chicago and am hard pressed to find any sinisterites although I haven't really had much time to look. I spend most of my days working in FAO SChwarz which, for those of you who don't know, is a rather large and expensive toy store. I'm sure there might be some uncomfortable Freudian analyses about people who work in toy stores, but I should probably leave that one alone. In any case, my tip for the day is that B&S is near impossible to listen to on the el or in the subway what for all the clamor and noise that the damn trains make. Mogwai is also rendered unlistenable in the depths of the subway. Fortunately, the bus is the perfect place to listen to both bands (and any other quiet ones, for that matter). Magnetic Fields is also excellent bus music. Geez. This post isn't going very well. Okay, so I'm going to end this before it gets messy--if anyone in the Chicago area is interested in having a little meet up before it gets too cold, please make yourselves known...and also feel free to drop by the toy store :) love to you all, george ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
