Sinister: another odd mis-hearing

This is not a mis-hearing (is that a word?) of a Belle and Sebby song, but it still very odd. Sometime in the early 1990's there was this, um, bad band called Temple of the Dog who had one popular song here in the States. The first line of that song was "I don't mind stealing bread from the mouths of decadence" Well, a friend of mine thought they were saying "I don't mind stealing bread from the mouths of Africans" She didn't think that was very nice at all, and I would have to agree. That band was terrible anyway. love, christa +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
