hiya, a bus-related, perhaps smut-related question...actually more of a lunchtime poll-kind-of-question: when you spot an attractive bunny on the bus (or on the train or any other kind of public transportation, by the way) and you're feeling personally confident that day cos you're wearing your study at stow t-shirt or some other similarly spiffy apparrel, do you make eye contact? ask a stupid question to make conversation? (i did this once...i hid my watch in my bookbag just so i could ask the time of the adorable blond boy who rode my bus every morning. it was 7.14 am, in case you were wondering.) ask for a phone number? or just dream of future bus scenarios involving the two of you while you shyly gaze out the window at the passing clouds whirring by--ALONE? what does one do? i ask cos i'm forever checking out people's haircuts and cool shoes during my daily public transit jaunts, but i'm just too feeble to do anything more than stare. enough posting from me i'm going now bye! Not being too smart or clever, I finally broke down and gave it to her. She then proceded to call me for the next six months telling me about her cat and her never ending quest to find a job that would pay her eight dollars and hour. I wasn't mean or anything about it, it was just a little annoying and somewhat bizarre. You gotta be weary about bus girls... you never know if they're going to be nice or psychotic.

The buses on the west side of Los Angeles are a bit frightning. There's the red buses, MTA, which are pretty damn scary and cost $1.35 (?) and then there are the blue buses, aptly named 'The Big Blue Bus', which are somewhat nicer and only cost 50 cents, and laslty there are the green buses, Culver City's, are really scary and a ride goes for 65 cents or so. Why am I giving people the lowdown on buses? I do not know. The most humorous thing about LA buses is that they have these adverts inside that start out "ATTENTION HEROIN AND METH ADDICTS..." Kind of gives you an idea as to who the target passanger is... scary. I've sat by many a person on the bus who has an odd itch in their nose that they can't seem to get rid of. hmm... I had to start riding the bus when i crashed my car this past winter. Needless to say I had a nice little B+S mixed tape of songs that mention the word 'bus' to keep me occupied. Ok, I'm boring myself, so I will be quiet. OH! And let me cast a belated vote for one Miss Beth Arzy on the whole list crush thing.
