mr.tag was inquiring about the swedish ice hotel and me being the astute information-professional-in-training that i am remembered reading something about this lovely place in a somewhat-lesscheesy-than-the-usual-bridal-magazine. So I went digging through my bridal archives and came up with the source in question and it did indeed have a nice little article on the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden. Apparently the Ice Hotel is built every october from snow and ice - it takes about 1000 tons of ice and 2000 tons of snow annually and the design changes every year. The hotel has a chapel, rooms, a gallery, an ice sauna(?!), a golf room, a cinema, and a bar called Absolute Ice.
