Scared to visit France ! Why ? The truth is that sometimes America seems awful to us. I can only tell my feelings, not the point of view of all the french people. I like America because of blues, jazz, rock, writers. Because I love Cormac Mc Carthy, Paul Auster, Woody Allen, Bill Evans, Jim Harrison, John Cassavetes, John Coltrane, Lambchop, etc... But there are also many things that I dont like : all the bad movies coming from Hollywood, puritanism, death penalty, trash TV, Mac Donalds, Kenneth Starr... I will come to the US next year, and I will live there at least one year. I will certainly miss Europe, and France. I love my country, but I dont sing our national anthem every morning. I am not particularly proud to be french: I'm not responsible for being french, I didn't choose. Let's try to take the best from all the countries. From Scotland, I take Belle & Sebastian !
