Sinister: yet another introduction
I've been reading quite a few introductions recently and it's inspired me to finally write one of my own. The name's Ted Hennessey, and I'm a 19 year old college student at the University of Iowa. I've been a huge B&S fan for almost a year and a half now, and I wonder sometimes if I'm the only one in this state that's heard of this great band. I got hooked last year when I picked up TBWTAS, and I have been addicted since. It took me two months to finally pick up their remaining CDs. I also have quite a bit of Spiritualized in my collection, along with Snow Patrol and also the Gentle Waves (which is a sublimely mellow CD). I attended the Stereolab concert here last Wednesday, and they were great, even though Laetitia was sick and her vocals were not in top form. I hear they cancelled a few dates after the concert here. But they were a great live band. Jim O'Rourke put on a great show too. Well, that's about all from me. Cheers to you all! ted +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
