My friend Camille was talking about how songs get radio play, and what they do is they let people listen to stuff, and rate it from 1 to 5. everything that gets rated 1,2, or 5 gets chucked. Which is very strange, you would think 5's would get played, but I suppose 5's are too personal, as in there is no lowest common denominator. 3's and 4's are like, easy on the ears, they don't stand out. Just plain old mediocre. Strange, yeah?
