Sinister: Fwd: Belle and Sebastian Mailing List - Dear Catastrophe Waitress promo nights
Hullo again, I forgot to say a couple of things. Firstly, if you're on the look out for a nice fellow with a scottish accent, a certain Mr Murdoch might be able to sort you out. He talks about San Fransisco, pretend girlfriends, girls in black-rimmed glasses, Camera Obscura and film discussion groups here: http://www.banchory.net/belleandsebastian/writing.html Also, i was about to empty my junk mail folder when I found an email from Banchory about DICKYWUSS promotion nights, which I've copied below. They're even having one in Cardiff! It's a miracle! All the other emails were to do with "enormous cocks". Someone must think I'm a fan of big chickens. I don't know what gave them that idea, although I do like the odd goose now and then. GOODBYE ROBIN XXX [ by express delivery : http://www.superatomic.co.uk/blog ]

Hello all,
Well, we've all been busy coming up with new and exciting ways for you to enjoy the record. Unfortunately all the following events are UK based, but if you're planning anything in your home town, let me know and we'll tell everyone about it!
In Glasgow, were doing a night at the National Pop League @ The Woodside Social Club, North Woodside Road, Glasgow on Friday September 26th. The night will kick off early with doors at 7.30pm for people to be ready and seated by 8.00pm for the start of the Pop Quiz compered by Mr Stuart Murdoch with some very fabulous prizes! During this time, table service will be offered by some delightful Non Catastrophe Waitresses and once the Quiz has finished, the dancing will begin, as usual until 2.00am. I think it's £3.00 in and the bar is dead cheap too. More info at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/nationalpopleague
At the following club nights, selected tracks from the new B&S album "Dear Catastrophe Waitress" will be played and there will also be giveaways of the record and other promo bits and bobs on the night too.
