there was a short interview with looper on ch4 teletext this morning (the planet sound pages which i believe now start at page 450 having moved a week or two ago). er, can't remember a lot about it but here's something. the book publishing deal came from him mentioning it in a review he wrote for the Times, apparently he had a couple of companies write to him with offers after that. he's also written two or three others but nalda was the best. he also started another during the american tour but didn't want to reveal details. he reports that work on the new b&s album is coming along very slowly but that looper album 2 is proceeding nicely. on y2k he revealed that he's been stocking up on tinned food just in case. er that was about it, i think. andy tinned food's all well and good as long as you don't mind eating it cold. i think the major problem will be power or, rather, that power will be the most important thing that could have problems. human nature will prevail though, people will pull together. oh, i re-read the article about 'romance' last night and it was the reviewer's first experience of an erection on screen rather than the first allowed in britain, my mistake. she (like myself) obviously doesn't frequent the same cinemas as tag or david. 8) pete miller: nope, it was bull hemel hempstead that i worked at, not bull in slough although there was talk of me having a job there once i was deemed surplus to requirements in HH. it never happened though (headcount freeze, blah blah blah) i could see tim hopkins every day for a week and scare him with a different 4ad t-shirt every time. oh, ok, not sunday. ===== andrew dean (koogydelbbog@yahoo.com) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
