I stumbled upon a path with great big stone crosses at the side, the stations of the cross, I think, leading up to a great big one flanked by two smaller ones in a crucifixion stylee. It was quite moving, even for a dedicated pagan like me, so it must have really freaked out the true believers in the old days. Then when i got to the top there was aload of people outside the church, dressed up for a wedding. turns out they were filming for a local soap opera, the longest running in Spain, even though (or because) it's in Basque and therefore incomprehensible to me. But there's a bloke in it who looks like Lemmy and he was there, so I'm happy. Then on my way down the other side of the hill I had to work through a spooky bamboo grove and a girl guide's campsite. I'm a big fan of the electric recording of "I Don't Believe You" live in Belfast on the Biograph album. It's a complete racket, I can see why people were upset. Good stuff. I believe both Iso "Ding Dong" Bel and Stuart "Pish Pish Pish!" David were involved in the production of "Is the Wicker Man Scared?" on the new album. And besides, full credit must be given to the legendary patience of Dougie Doogan, without whom none of this pish would be poshible. I just felt the need to bring up these points because your message made Stuart sound really competent and "with it", an impression that could damage future record sales.
