My grandfather has never been in a Belle and Sebastian video...that has gotta be the neatest thing.Seriously.I really think you should inform your grandpa just how hip he is,Alasdair!! I had to babysit 2 babies today and the video they wanted to watch the most was "Elmopalooza". There is this video on it by a guy named Kenny Loggins called "One Small Voice" and it shows a talent show going on,and one small boy afraid to take part in it..the singer,Kenny Loggins,I`m assuming,really bothers me (or maybe I secretly love him and it drives me insane)...if B&S ever do a video like that I will have to kill them all and then myself. I`ve realised my dances for Belle and Sebastian are treading that ugly,dangerous line between dancing and miming.Its very sad. one of my friends went to this musical fest where Hole was playing at,and you know how when bands are fixing there stage or whatever,they play music of their choice..well during Hole`s set, "The Stars Of Track and Field" came on and Miss Love started talking to the audience "Do you know Belle and Sebastian? Aren`t they lovely! Of course you wouldnt know about them,you heavy metal fuckers" etc etc lots of rude words that I wouldnt use. I actually have some Belle and Sebastian questions..because I`ve realised I`m not up with everything on them.There was a time..when I owned everything...now I`m just an average joe. a)Where can I see/get this documentary of B&S,lots of footage of the band looking out the window while the tour bus drives hopefully! b)Where can I see/get musical videos other than Is It Wicked Not To Care. I am intrigued,because,on the Sleeka Sounds Stuart Murdoch fansite,a clip from that video shows Stuart with black hair and a raincoat.Hmmm. c)Where can I hear all those songs people sometimes talk about, such as:Rhoda,Wrong Girl,Winter Pooksie,The Lonlieness Of The Middle Distance Runner,Lord Anthony. (I think thats it) Haven`t seen Eyes Wide Shut yet for listees who were questioning.Would make a good date movie huh..alas,the boys wont ask me out because of my buck-teeth and split-ends.Eagerly anticipating Blair Witch Prject.Haven`t been scared by a movie since many moons ago.Hoping Poetry Cafe night went well. I had to buy some coffee for my papa today and I had just about the nicest server ever(and i dont have a crush on him either if thats what youre thinking)..not only did he invite me behind the counter,he showed me the various types of beans,varying in hue and fragrance and description "sweet,mellow" "mysterious,exquisite nutty flavour" I was genuinely impressed.Costa Rican beans.West Indies beans!
