Thanks for the info on Salinger films. I didn't think there were any, just wanted to ask. In general, I prefer book versions of anything to the film versions, with one exception. I think that Milan Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," was every bit as great a movie as it was a book. And speaking of Eastern European flicks, I also loved "My Twentieth Century," a film that captures the excitement and newness of the twentieth century better than anything else I have seen.
