Actually I don't have anything to say on the subject of Seb, expect that he rules of course, but I thought it would make a good title for an email... I read something on a post today that really made my blood boil!!! Mr. Paul Field - have you no shame!

You fell for his trap!! We're meant to fancy Verity "the upwardly nubile scionette of the house of Walker" because she's the epitome of the "new tall elegant rich kid", being tall and rich and elegant. But she's got no substance. I bet if she came to the Sinister Booty Bounce/Soul Weekender at new year she wouldn't be there rulling on the dancefloor as Tag dropped some Northern Soul stompers and the Tall Git showed us the moves he'd been practicising at these exclusive Cambridge parties. No way - she wouldn't want to spoil her make up or crease her Prada frock! But alongside her on the pages of that wonderful book sits the worlds most glorious woman. Keep your Cleopatras, your Ophelias and Juliettes. The greatest, most sensational women in the wide-wide world of literature is Miss Ashley Watt from the said Crow Road. She is the quintessence of what by best friend Alice calls "a real girl" (apart from that bit about being in a book obviously). She's got a job, a life, a wicked sense of humour not to mention a cavalier attitude to the whole "wild thing" business. She rocks my world. I wont bore you all with the remarkable parallels between my life and that of Prentice McHoan but we did both have girlfriends called Ashley. I subsequently considered that the finest name a girl can have - yer guarentee of quality so to speak. I want to have thousands of daughters and call them all Ashley!
