I dunno about this alienated and disposessed bit really, people ought to come to these things just cause it should be fairly obvious there's a really nice bunch of people out there. I'm always wary of this alienated bit cause it's really a load of bollocks, everyone's alienated as much as the next person - or no-one. Yet again it singles a certain group of people off (essentially the people who explicitly feel like they are for whatever reason - and decide to try and show it). I don't particularly feel part of this group myself even although I meet all these people and have a great time. So come along anyway to these events please whatever you feel your position is - I couldn't hack it if a group of people who're all having a laugh suddenly becomes co-opted by some people who think they feel the same - everyone's views are important and that's why we have a great mailing list, cause there's a huge spread of opinion on stuff and people don't just talk about fucking foxes all the time. Even RoDDnEEyySSS views are welcome. We could on the other hand become like a group of people who through safety in numbers decide that they're better than people with differing opinions - but that just wouldn't do. There are people out there whose views on music - which I suppose is the main thing we talk about, differ massively to mine, the Duke and Andreas perhaps spring to mind, but who without I'd be a whole lot less interested in the list. It's just a case of living together I suppose - which sounds all hippy-drippy but it's true.
