Sinister: Greetings Everyone
Hello all-- I am a new addition to the list. I'm not sure if this is regular procedure or not, yet yes I am introducing myself, for I feel it's the right thing to do... I'm from a little town in South Carolina USA called Hilton Head (land of golf and tennis and rich pricks who fight over caviar), and go to school at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. (Winston is the armpit of North Carolina, ugh). I *very* recently got into B&S, as in during the last few months. I've been a notorious Who fan for as long as I remember, along with the Floyd, Jethro Tull, and the Beatles. I find today's music lacking, besides Radiohead, whom I find to be amazing. So when I first picked up Sinister (forgive me, I'll pick up on the acronyms soon enough) it was a delightful surprise. Being a stupid American, those damn import EPs are hard to come by--though I did manage to get my hands on a copy of Modern Rock Song. This, and of course Arab Strap, make up my B&S catalogue, I'm afraid. Anyways--I appreciate B&S for its fresh sound, Stuart for his caustic (sometimes) and beautiful (sometimes) lyrics, (not to mention his tasty tasty fret buzz), and its abundance of trumpet solos (why not?!). Ok I'm wrapping this up now. I also tend to write poetry and sometimes a short story or two--so if anyone wants to swap or something, let me know. And perhaps to begin a discussion--am I the only one who adores Me and the Major? alright, that's it glad to be here blake hamibe02@wfu.edu +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
