Sinister: Led Zeppelin and other Rock
I too once (in high school) fell in love with the music of the mighty 'zep. I enjoyed it at the time. Further, I would contend that their early music is very reputable even on a critical standpoint. Did you know that Kenny Pickett (from the Creation) was their roadie? Robert Plant attended a Divine Comedy show in New York and I didn't even recognize him (I was too busy acting like a fool in front of Harvey Williams). It (led zep) was a bit misogynist. But the band was influenced by a lot of misogynist music. Did you also know that Stuart M used to listen to a lot of Yes (probably less reputable than early Zep).
