Hi all! Just throwing my first Hello into the B & S ring. I've been lurking for about 3 weeks now, living vicariously through the list, imagining myself at the Manchester gigs. Soon the shows will be over, and I will be left without my daily dose of meet-up plans and travel arrangements. I implore those who will attend to talk about the gigs for at least 3 more weeks....i must complete the picture in my head. Anyway....here's my latest B & S news. I was in my hometown for christmas and i went out with a friend from high school who now lives in NYC. One of the first things she said to me when she got in my car was "You _must_ hear Belle and Sebastian". Now, I've not seen the girl for over 2 years. Not a Hello, How Are You...none of the formalities that one usually goes through in a reunion situation. Without blinking, i reached under my seat, grabbed a cassette and casually inserted it into the tape deck. The glorious sounds of IYFS emanated from my speakers....and all was well. My friend and i were reacquainted. Um, I guess that's the end of the story. Okay. Bye! Jennifer ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
