<< Do any of you cats out their remember or know of a band from the early eighties? called Trixies Big Red Motorbike? >> yes indeedy! They were a duo from the Isle of Wight, consisting of Mark Litten and his sister Melanie. They sounded quite a bit like the Marine Girls...and, in fact, were quite good friends with them back in the day. "Norman & Narcissus," "That's The End Of That," "One Nation Under A Brolley," "You Took Him Away From Me"...they had an insane number of unsung classics. You can find most of their catalog on a compilation LP, _The Initmate Sound of Trixie's Big Red Motorbike_, on Accident Records. Find out more at their website: http://www.miaow.oaktree.co.uk/accident/trixie/. I used to be in a band that covered "That's The End Of That." :) mike ciflux@aol.com http://members.aol.com/ciflux +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
