No one seems to have mentioned yet that Jad Fair of Half Japanese managed to convincingly rhyme orange" with "door hinge" in a song years ago.......Still, I would kill for a rhyme for silver (hey, wait a minute..........) ----------

I didn't set a closing date for the poetry competition thinking that for days I'd no doubt have only my own pisspoor effort to contend with. I'm pleased to report, however, that I've had five entries so far and they are all classy as hell.

Monday 23rd is therefore the last date for final entries.

The rules:

- send to me and not the list - one or all of the words orange, month, purple and silver must be rhymed - Belle and Sebastian must feature
