Sinister: Return of the Lovin Spoonful baiter!
Warning all Lovin' Spoonful fans, I am back on a permanent basis! Anyways, a few things have happened since I've been away and I've got a couple of questions, too. Whilst walking through the 60s concrete hell of Dundee's Overgate Centre the other week I saw a guy walking through carrying, what I think was a guitar case with Snow Patrol written on it. This was a somewhat surreal experience as I'd just been looking at their single in Virgin. Do they come from Dundee? Also, since I was last here I got my hands and fell in love with the Dog On Wheels E.P. How on earth does Stuart Murdoch make the line `7 to 8 years old, well that's pretty small' sound like the saddest thing on earth?! And The State I Am In is the best song I have ever heard. Ever. It has a beautiful melody, stunning lyrics and is sung by a cracked angel. God, that song got me through some pretty miserable times recently; I used to just sing the opening lines to myself over and over again. Also, Tigermilk. DON'T HIT ME! What is the protocol for swapping stuff etc. in order to get a taped copy of aforementioned album? I thought I could wait until whatever time they choose to re-release it, but each day, that empty gap in my record collection is gnawing away at my soul. All the best, Jon...back for good. -- ***************************************** The unofficial Leyton Orient Mailing List For info on joining mail me at jwg.wren@dial.pipex.com or Chris Uwins at web-orient@clara.net ***************************************** ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
