RE: Sinister: Brian Hurst, he saw them first
I don't know if it's the same band, damn clever name though. If it is the same band someone probably punched him on the face. I remember seeing them on rapido years ago and their special gimmick was they had a fabulous mini. I don't mean like a really good one, i mean it was the fabulous-mobile, with"fabulous" spray painted all over it and they used to drive it about shouting "fabulous!" out of the window. Maybe that's an idea for B & S....They could call it the "Sebaticar" or something, and drive about telling truant children to get back to school. I really must do some work Cheery, Chris

I saw radiohead in may 92 supporting "Fabulous" in King Tuts. I was very young you realise. There where 6 people there and that Simon Dudfield character danced like a chicken in front of everyone. Then when "fabulous" were on someone walked up to him and punched him on the face. It was dead funny.
The strange thing is Chris, is that only last week I almost went through to see Annie Christian in Glasgow last week who it turns out were supporting a band called Fabulous too. This got me thinking to the tune that it couldn't have been Simon Dudfield's fabulous, could it... could it... I don't really know. What a bag of shite.
Cheers, Keith.
[Been toying with the idea of using "Sorry, no Belle and Sebastian content" as my signature, but figured that guys at work might get a bit confused!]
