Did anyone else read this in the Intelligencer column of the 11/23 issue of New York Magazine? I thought it was mildly amusing. EVAN DANDO: HOT (LEMON) HEAD It may have been a Belle & Sebastian concert, but Evan Dando, the hunky lead singer of the Lemonheads, took center stage at the Supper Club earlier this month. According to witnesses, the angst-ridden rocker threw his beer in the face of an acquaintance who'd simply said hello. The victim, a British sound engineer for rival pop bands like Blur, said, "I've met him twenty times, and it's always the same old shit." Dando skulked back later to mumble an apology. Maybe it's less a case of rock-star rowdiness than of the blues: Dando's recently been linked with Kate Moss, who checked herself into an English clinic for "nervous exhaustion" last week. Dando could not be reached for comment.
