Hello! A thousand and one apologies if this has gone to the wrong place (my intention is to post to the list), though it is my debut. I'm even making a special effort with capital letters and grammar (but possibly not spelling). All rare things in my e - mails. The picnic in London sounded most excellent fun, I was almost tempted to go, but was a bit scared, and had a wedding to go to as well. Next time definitely. I havn't kicked a football in anger in about 5 years, but I still fancy myself as a bit tasty at the beautiful game (on a tiny pitch and 10 minute halves). Someone mentioned a drink called a sidecar(?) or similar. What is it? - the effects sound interesting. Someone also mentioned stepping on groups of three drain covers. I used to avoid them religously, but some bad things happened anyway, then I stopped avoiding them and nothing particularly bad happened, now I think better safe than sorry, and avoid them when I can (but I don't go to extreme lengths). I've heard that if you step on a single drain cover it will cancel any ill effect of stepping on three drains, and its a good thing to step on two drain covers. I haven't seen any proof of the efficacy of any of this though. I've just heard it from several different people who don't know each other. So just be careful everyone. I'm thinking of taking a week off work (then quitting - another office summer? - Poo more like!)and following the 'seb (sorry!) around for a week of English dates. This is the thing I've most looked forward to in ages. Anyone else have similar plans? Goodbye!
