Sinister: You're on top of the world again

This is "No Expectations" from Tigermilk. Incidentally, Karen David's just pointed out that A Century of Fakers is due for release now in the first week of October. Is this the one that was supposed to be out today? I went along to Virgin at lunchtime convinced I'd be buying the latest e.p.... Hello, There's an online store based in California called Siren Disc that has a future releases section on their web pages. The following is listed for Belle & Sebastain at http://www.sirencd.com : Belle & Sebastian A Century Of Fakers 12" $9.99 Release Date: 22-Sep-97 A Century Of Fakers 7" $3.99 Release Date: 22-Sep-97 A Century Of Fakers CDS $9.99 Release Date: 22-Sep-97 Although they don't show a release date of early October yet, I've found this site a good source of information. It could certainly save you a bit of time and disappointment if you pick up the e.p.s in the shops. Incidentally, I don't recommend shopping through Siren; their customer service leaves much to be desired. Daniel Rhys Williams wrote:

Siren is a good place for harder to find releases in the US. They specialize in imports, but I agree with Daniel, customer service sucks. Does anyone know if B&S will definitely have an album which compiles these eps? Sam Daniel James wrote:

isn't it just 'expectations'? sorry to be pedantic :-) It's maybe my favourite tune off Tigermilk too, i just love it, but that whole record is soooo good. Of course. I just love those lines about the queue for lunch and all... ha ha. And the bit about the Velvet Underground in clay is hilarious. And i like the idea of the head of english and that, but then maybe that's just my warped sense of humour, being a teacher and all. Sorry. i'll shut up now. the duke -- Tangents On-Line http://www.virtual-pc.com/tangent/ Tangents On-Paper: PO Box 102, Exeter, EX2 4YL, UK tangent@mail.zynet.co.uk ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . you mean apart from 'as little as possible'? ;-) um, i teach art (which is as close to as little as possible as i could get) to high school kids. Nobody wants to make life size models of the velvet underground in clay though. except me. i did write those lines on my whitebaord once last year though and people said 'what the fuck is that all about?' except they didn't swear. except Katy, who swore all the time, but only in my classroom because she knew i didn't mind. i'm off to school right now. tara. the duke Tangents On-Line http://www.virtual-pc.com/tangent/ Tangents On-Paper: PO Box 102, Exeter, EX2 4YL, UK tangent@mail.zynet.co.uk ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
