Sinister: boy on a bike and leftie sex
i loved jessica's interpretation of 'fox in the snow'. i wrote a poem last year using the 'boy on a bike' line because ever since i first heard the song it would come into my head at odd moments in that way that i've come to recognise as meaning 'write a poem, write a poem, write a poem, you know you want to'. it's not about the boy on the bike in the song though, rather someone i know who rides off on his bike to the harbour or into the woods to write and think, and isn't always that great at being around people. he's a bit of a bastard actually. anyway, that's irrevelant. since i was the one who first claimed that lefties were good in bed, i suppose i should be the one to explain or qualify this statement. i'm not sure, but i think it might be to do with the fact that lefties have to use their right hands for some things too as the world is not ideally adapted for them everywhere. so, they can be relatively...erm...efficient with both hands. whereas righties have never had the incentive to learn to use their left hands, and are therefore sometimes more limited... i'll stop now. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rachel Playforth rap101@york.ac.uk http://members.tripod.com/~RPlayforth/welcome.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------- "Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon." +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
