he is serious, the band are hectic at the moment, doing a modern rock song video and preparing to head back into the studio, and delabel (the french label) would really like to be able to continue to promote the album. so if you're really interested then there are a couple of things you should do: 1- make sure you've got a showreel (a short film clip that you've shot just showing what you've done before and what you can do) of something you've done, put it on VHS and mail that in envelope with... 2- a treatment for the 'dirty dream...' video that you would like to shoot. a treatment is a written storyboard type thing explaining exactly what the video would look like and when things in the video happen. it is not just a written idea, it's very detailed and literally explains every shot you would do in advance of filming it. a good treatment would allow the reader to know in his/her head exactly what the video would look like. you should then post these in to us at the postal address (snail mail) below, when they arrive they'll be forwarded by first class directly to stuart m or the band's office. then it'll be up to the band to decide which one gets picked :) david PS: band involvement in the video is not guaranteed since they'll be recording soon, you should try and write two treatments if you were hoping to have them in the video, one with them in the video, and the other one not featuring the band at all. PPS: the french will be pay for it, but remember that this won't get a you a large budget, so thinking along the lines of a 'will smith' video will probably make them go bust and as such, will ensure yours isn't picked. a good idea will see you further than a large budget proposal.
