Sinister: It's cliched to be cynical at Christmas
Salut Millenium Eve. What's it all about then? Who's got the right idea. I know lots of people with lots of ideas. I know someone going to my towns only 'nightclub' (a basement under Woolworths) like she does every Friday night. I know someone going to Don Valley Stadium, with the intention of exposing herself to the first TV camera she sees. I know people planning a quiet night in (or a dirty night in, depending on their love lives). What? Yeah, I suppose I should write about the 'life of a B&S fan' to avoid allagations of list abuse and the resulting public flogging. Well, on Millenuim Eve I had hoped to invite both my friends round and then sit around looking glum for a while before listening to Radiohead's 'Fitter, Happier' at midnight. Unfortunately, getting two people to walk down the road to my house is beyond my organisational capacity, so I'll probably be ringing in the third millenium with a mug of tea and a Sundays album. Whatever you're doing, have a good one.
