And didn't the All About Eve guitarist go on to play in both the Sisters of Mercy and then industrial no-hopers CNN (later XC-NN)? Makes joining Del Amitri seem like a valid career move. I remember reading an interview with Momus where he referred to the singer in Del Amitri as his cousin.
