hey there on the list
I am new and have joined this list because I just love Belle and Sebastian!
They are my favourite band.
My vital stats are England (near Heathrow - Ashford), 17, male, student
My fave Belle and Sebastian songs are Dog on Wheels, Seeing other People, La Pastie de la Bouregeosie and Lazy Line Painter Jane
I also like Radiohead (seen em twice this year at the secret fan club gig and also at Brighton) My fave RH song is 'Motion Picture Soundtrack' (an unreleased song) I also like Catatonia (saw em in London last month), Spritiualized, Stone Roses, SFA, Blur, Portishead and loads others
And just for the record I think Elvis was shite (most overrated singer in history?) and in the song he is a cat.............
Anyone gonna say hello to me?

call me a crazy yank, but i just can't warm up to marmite. somehow, partially decomposed vegetable slime just doesn't stimulate my appetite. although, i must admit that i've never had it, i've just heard all about it from my roommate, whose mum is british. and isn't there another variety--something pickled, or canned in brine? erm...b&s content?...do you suppose they like marmite? actually, i'm in paroxysms of despair, since i lost about a dozen cd's a week ago, one of which was iyfs. i've now been without b&s for a week. sorry about the rambling, laurel ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . well, take it from this crazy yank, who has actually had marmite... it is a disturbing experience, though not wholly unsatisfying. I wonder, does Katrina ever say "Fair Dinkum"? And did anybody else spend their schoolyears referring to constipation as "Doug Willis bladder"?
