hi there to the sinisterian land... the sun's shining showing his ugly teeth... First of all... I'd like to apologise for my previous post... writing for the list on the list... I hope honey dearest and all of you will forgive me for that... Second... all this talk about the Box Set... I won't take part in it... I guess it's OK for people who cannot find the 12s"... and as it's been already said "buy our records, support our sickness" but... I love vinyl... I love to buy it... to smell it.... to kiss it... yer, I kiss all my new records... to make them feel welcome... silly huh? to play it... it's like a ritual... I've never liked CDs from the start... you can even paint on your vinyls... and hang them on the wall (wow! blasphemy!!!) or even play them...!!! I have to share with you another story... I haven't told but my property comes only to a dog (a terrie that has a frightening similarity to St.Bernard's dogs as my best friend's noticed), a scooter, and some half used tubes of oil colours... and brushes and some camvas... yer, that's all... oh, and my records of course... the funny thing is that my dog's called Spooky... after my corridor which is very long and dark (spooky!) and Spooky used to run up and down in it... and my scooter's called Spootnik... you see, both of their names start with a "spoo"... and that was not intentional...anyway... Spooky likes to chew the plastic covers of my records... I've told her so many times that she shouldn't... that this is mere blasphemy... and you know what she did? She stared at me with a rather scornful eye under her really long eyelashes and said: "you materialistic bastard!!"... she did I swear... the only thing Spooky's afraid of is NME... I'm not messing here... we're talking about a music conscious dog... everytime she does something nusty, all I have to do is to threaten her showing her the NME... and only then she'll stop whatever it is she's doing... chewing my records, my books, my old rocking chair, whatever... and she'll run and hide under the bed... I mean... NME scares the shite off this dog... and... she loves riding on "Spootnik" as well... and... she loves music... when I play music and sing along... she moves her tail left to right in such a charming way... and she loves Belle and Sebastian... when I listen to B&S I like lying down on the floor... singing along... I love that.... she comes then and sits on my belly, looking at me in pure joy... And... finally.... as a beloved friend of mine said... we should vote for Spooky for the list crush thingie... what do you think? If Honey wouldn't object... Sorry if I bored you all to death...
