While the rest of the world was suffering the ravages of el nino last week, for some unknown reason the weather in damp old glasgow was fine and sunny and last saturday it was even warm!!!!!! Anyway I woke up at about eleven on this beautiful sunny day, saw my flatmate and we decided to go shoping in town and do lunch. When we opened the curtains to the beautiful day outside she said it would be appropriate to put on le pastie de la bourgoisie, it was and I did. Not much later after deciding it was so nice out we'd walk into town, we set set of with said tune still ringing in our heads. We took a scenic route over park circus and crossed the motorway at charing cross by the pedestrian bridge and to our surprise at the other side on a wall just behind sauchihall street someone had written in large white spraycan writing- Le pastie de la bourgoisie which was a bit freaky but nice, and made my flatemate start singing it. But I went red and embarrased 'cause we we're now walking down busy sauchihall street on a saturday and I get embarased easy, so she stopped. But it was still the start of a beautifull day, and b+s were involved and everybody was happy. Except probably Glasgow city council. Has anyone else seen belle and sebastian graffiti anywhere else?
