Hello all cardie-wearing, biscuit-nibbling bedroom saddo devotees... This is my first post, I'm feeling a little bit saucy this fine Pennsylvania autumn afternoon so's I decided to introduce myself. I've been a B&S listener for less than a year, having changed my musical preferences, from mainstream shite that I didn't take much of an interest in, to less mainstream and some indie---my B&S-in-the-cd-carousel-all-the-time-phase, to evolve into the being I am today, a diehard Mike Patton fanatic. I guess the main reason I am so provoked to write a post is that when I was comparing the Mr. Bungle (one of Mike Patton's band, he was the vocalist for the former band, Faith No More) mailing list I receive to ol' sinister, which keeps my mailbox full, I noticed an increased hostility at Sinister. Now granted there are many factors to consider such as Sinister is much larger than Bungle and Mr. Bungle is on tour which serves as a uniting event for all listees, even so, one would think fans of a certain genre of music would reflect an attitude similar to that kind of music. Okay, I'm probably going to start another heated argument over who can say what but I find it rather humorous that a group of B&S fans whose musical tastes are probably mellow in comparison to the hard rock and even sometimes death metal sounds that Bungle fans relish in, can be pretty harsh to each other at times. Sorry for the probable stereotyping and generalizing I just spewed out, and the uncontrollable references to a band some of you don't know of. I'm gonna shut the hell up, I've become that girl that says something random yet insulting, and she's always a new one too.
